In a dramatic turn of events, Drew enters the Quartermaine kitchen where Sasha is already present. After grabbing coffee, Sasha reflects on the kiss she saw the night before but quickly dismisses it. She praises Drew for his motivational speech, which went surprisingly well. Drew agrees, mentioning that the previous night was full of surprises. Willow walks in but hesitates upon seeing Drew. After getting Willow some coffee, Sasha excuses herself to visit Cody at the stables. Once alone, Willow tells Drew that their kiss was inappropriate because she loves Michael. Drew agrees, admitting it was a rash and foolish act, and reassures Willow that they shouldn’t overthink it as it will eventually seem insignificant.

Michael enters after Willow leaves and notices she seems off to Drew. Michael shares that Willow was restless all night, fearing she might be ill again. Drew reassures him that Willow likely just struggled to unwind after the party.

At the stables, Sasha meets Cody, eager to share her observations from the previous evening. However, Cody reveals he told Mac that he is Mac’s son, recounting how Mac was enraged. Sasha, looking at him with pride, asks about his plans. Despite Maxi’s advice to stay, Cody admits he feels compelled to leave town whenever he gets close to forming the bond he desires with Mac. Sasha pleads with him to stay, kisses him, and makes him promise to inform her if he plans to leave.

Meanwhile, Felicia and Maxi discuss the Mac and Cody situation at Maxi’s place. Felicia is skeptical of Cody’s motives, while Maxi believes in him. When Sasha arrives and explains she replaced Cody’s hair with her own in a DNA test to buy him time, Felicia and Maxi appreciate her honesty but recognize Mac needs time to rebuild trust with Cody.

Elsewhere, Sonny thanks Carly for bringing Avery over to play with Donna. During their conversation, Jason arrives with updates on the custody dispute involving Ava. Carly asserts she’d testify against Ava if necessary, and Jason emphasizes he’s collaborating with Jon to keep Carly safe. Sonny, visibly stressed, leaves after expressing hope that Jason’s actions won’t harm him.

At the Metro Court, Ava meets Scott, who informs her about Sonny’s sole custody claim and Diane’s countersuit. Ava realizes the stakes are high but remains determined. She later confronts a pharmacist at the hospital, demanding he stop tampering with Sonny’s medication. She insists on full placebo treatment until further notice, threatening to expose his misdeeds if he doesn’t comply.

Back in her room, Ava is startled by Sonny, who records their confrontation. They exchange heated words about custody and character, with Sonny declaring he won’t back down. Their argument is interrupted by Jon, who steps in as tensions reach a boiling point.
