Friday, June 21’s episode of General Hospital promises intense drama and shocking revelations. The episode starts with Sam McCall playing an audio clip that leaves Carly Spencer horrified. The recording demonstrates Carly’s control during a Five Families meeting, and Sam explains that although they couldn’t remove the recording, they were able to leverage the FBI’s influence over Jason Morgan through Damian Spinelli. Carly feels awful for Jason, but Sam insists that the real victims are Jason’s children and everyone who thought he was dead. Despite Carly’s attempts to channel Sam’s resentment towards John Jagger Kates, Sam feels a twinge of guilt and storms out of Carly’s office, tired of the constant support between Carly and Jason.
Meanwhile, at the coffee warehouse, Jason has a tense encounter with Jon, who demands to know what Jason discussed with Anna Devane. Jon is agitated that Jason failed to obtain any evidence against Pikeman and threatens to have Carly arrested if Jason doesn’t deliver the proof. Later, Jon returns to Carly’s office with a bottle of something fancy to express his gratitude for her help. He hints at pursuing one more villain, leaving Carly to wonder if it’s a woman.
At Valentin Cassadine’s residence, Anna searches through the living room and office, but comes up empty-handed. When Valentin returns, he inquires about Anna’s search, and she pretends to admire his collection. Their conversation shifts to dinner, during which Anna questions Valentin about his recent business travels. Valentin dodges specifics, preferring to discuss Anna’s intriguing PCPD cases. Despite their strained trust, their evening ends with a passionate kiss, observed by a watchful Jason outside the window.
Back at Hamilton Finn’s apartment, a disoriented Finn injures himself on broken glass and collapses. Maxie Jones drops Violet Finn off at home, sensing that Finn needs her. Violet finds Finn unresponsive, with blood nearby, and fears the worst. She calls Tracy Quartermaine for help. Tracy arrives, summons paramedics, and assures Violet that Finn is merely unconscious from intoxication. Tracy then takes Violet to the Quartermaine estate, believing it’s best for her to be away from Finn in his current state.
Meanwhile, Chase gets a call from Tracy about Finn’s situation. Though concerned, Tracy insists Chase focus on caring for Violet. As Finn regains consciousness, he is distressed to learn that Violet isn’t there and won’t be returning soon. Violet, feeling responsible for Finn’s condition, wishes she could do more to help. Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine try to comfort her, promising to teach her new things like cooking to distract her from the turmoil at home.
In other developments, Sam discusses the incriminating audio with Spinelli, confident that Jason will always prioritize Carly. Upcoming spoilers hint at challenging decisions for Chase and Brook Lynn, tough questions for Kristina Corinthos-Davis, and an emotional clash between Carly and Jason.
