In the latest Days of Our Lives update for Monday, July 1st, we have some exciting spoilers to share. Kristen’s devious plan for Ava, EJ’s close encounter, and Brady’s big decision for Tate will leave Salem buzzing with drama!
Kristen DiMera, played by Stacy Haiduk, will have a pivotal meeting with Ava Vitali, portrayed by Tamara Braun, at the Bistro. Kristen offers Ava some tough love and solid advice as she struggles with her recent heartbreak over losing Harris Michaels (Steve Burton). Kristen might even propose a job for Ava at DiMera Enterprises now that Kristen is in charge.
Meanwhile, Tate Black (Leo Howard) turns to his father, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), for help in dealing with Teresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien). Tate believes he should be allowed to date Holly Jonas (Ashley Pus), but Brady disagrees and comes up with a plan to keep the peace. Brady decides to send Tate to a lacrosse camp in Upstate New York, hoping to keep him out of trouble.
Over at the DiMera mansion, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is in a panic. Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) is in the same room as Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), who could potentially expose the truth about baby Duke, also known as Duke DiMera (Oliver McCready). Luckily, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) provides a timely distraction by reuniting with her husband, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Gabi and Stefan share a passionate moment, which keeps EJ’s secret safe for now.
However, EJ’s troubles are far from over. He manages to get Melinda outside and negotiates a new deal to keep her quiet. There’s a chance Melinda might get a position at DiMera Enterprises if EJ can convince Kristen to agree.
Elsewhere in Salem, Brady makes a crucial decision regarding Tate’s summer plans. He shows Teresa a folder of potential summer camps, hoping to convince her that sending Tate away is the best option. Although Teresa is initially resistant, Brady’s persistence might change her mind.
EJ also plans a press conference as part of his strategy to keep Melinda from revealing the truth about Duke. Meanwhile, Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) claims to have information about a murder case, potentially linking him to Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) death.
As the week unfolds, Kristen gives Ava some much-needed advice, Stefan and Gabi rekindle their romance, and Brady tries to resolve the teen love triangle involving Tate.
