First, let’s talk about Monday. See, most of the daily teasers for Monday, August 5 are covered in their weekly promo. However, there are two small things that aren’t mentioned.

One is that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) finally have something in common. That is, they were both scammed by Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien). And neither one has taken that well.

Brady is obviously doing a little worse. We’ll see this the bonding helps Brady to overcome his recent spiral. If it does, it might take a minute! The promo shows him and Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) taking their recent “friendship” to another level.

Elsewhere, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) returned to Salem with the news he can’t find John. Well, except for some of his blood! This will cause will for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) on Monday, August 5.

At some point during the week, John is shown tied up somewhere. So, it looks like the Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) story isn’t quite over, despite his being gone. At least, we assume whoever took John is connected to Konstantin or his family.

As for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), their mission continues. We’ll see them enter the room from that video to see what teasers call a familiar face. That will be our mystery woman, Marin, played by AnnaLynne McCord. She asks them if they really think she could be Abigail Deveraux.

In other ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers, the mystery continues. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) discuss the “evidence” from Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berri) room. Jada feels something isn’t right. She’s not kidding! It is all way too perfect, and we’re curious how long it will take them to zero in on Connie.

Speaking of Everett, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is still reeling from his death. She’ll get comfort from her mother to start the week off. We’ll also later see her breaking the bad news to Alex.

Speaking of Connie, she promises Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) they’ll pay for what they did. Li gleefully says, “Oh, this is going to be ugly!” Even better? He’s rubbing his hands together like a kid. We’re really loving this Li, whatever he’s supposed to be.

We once thought he could be Li’s ghost, haunting the apartment until he gets justice. However, this scene makes us wonder. He shouldn’t be so happy if that was the case. He did, after all, try to warn Gabi DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) with his alleged last words.

And, yes, we are not going to let that go! They can write he said her name all they want, but that was not what they showed in that scene at all.
