General Hospital spoilers tease Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) is under arrest, and Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) will have to answer for his very bold move in trying to charge this grieving young woman just moments after she’s been cleared for discharge from the hospital. For those who already loathe him, it’ll appear as though he’s got an agenda he’s working against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as he tries to protect Ava Jerome (Maura West), but not everyone will be blinded by that theory.
Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is going to have her work cut out for her as she tries to make sense of what Agent Cates is up to, but Kristina’s family may not be so keen in giving it any honest thought before they proceed with their own next steps.
General Hospital Spoilers — Anna Hyperfocuses On Agent Cates
Anna is already bent on figuring out what angle Cates is playing and why he’s gotten so chummy with Ava. Naturally, she assumes Cates believes Ava is the best aly he can make in town in going up against Sonny.
They could share some mutual satisfaction in putting their heads together to take Sonny down, but Anna knows that Ava is really no better than the mob master himself.
In some ways, she may even be worse. Thus, she meant it genuinely when she warned Cates to steer clear of Ava, but he hasn’t listened.
Now, Cates’ arrest of Kristina will have Anna on high alert as he walks a fine line with law enforcement while in her territory.
Will they go toe-to-toe over who has the authority to put Kristina behind bars, and whether Ava’s word and the photos taken of her with Kristina serve as quality evidence that Kristina has done anything wrong?
GH Spoilers – Leak Sonny Corinthos Wants Ava Jerome To Pay
Of course, Sonny won’t stop until Ava pays, and he was already intent on making that happen. Now, he will once again see Cates’ latest act as a means of getting under his skin.
Cates just can’t let go of the vendetta he carries in his heart against Sonny, and he may think he can coax him into admitting guilt in other areas in exchange for his daughter’s freedom.
We can be certain that Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will be on the case as soon as possible, but will anyone be able to keep Sonny cool, calm, and collected long enough for Diane to work her magic or anyone to unpack what Cates is really up to?
General Hospital Spoilers — Alexis Davis Considers That Molly Lansing-Davis Is Right
While Sonny is busy spinning his wheels trying to get back at both Ava and Cates, and Anna is working this case in hopes of finding a way to invalidate Cates’ motives, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will struggle with who is right and who is wrong.
So far, she assumed there was no reason to doubt the photos that Brick (Stephen A. Smith) painted Ava as the guilty party, but is it possible that Sonny, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and others saw what they wanted to see in those pictures?
Likewise, is it possible Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Cates are doing the same?
Who was really guilty and how can Alexis figure it out? Will knowing even help her in deciding how to support both of her daughters, even if one of them is guilty? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
