### Big Sad😭News! General Hospital’s Michael & Finn! Very Heartbreaking 😭 News! It Will Shock You

General Hospital fans, brace yourselves for some heartbreaking news. Michael Easton, who has brilliantly portrayed Dr. Hamilton Finn, is leaving the show. The character of Finn has faced numerous challenges recently, including a downward spiral into alcoholism following his father’s death. This struggle has cost him his relationship with Liz, his job, and his bond with his daughter Violet.

Jason, visibly tense, is seen sitting in his car and makes a call to Spinelli’s phone. Maxi answers, mentioning that Spinelli is playing with the kids. However, Jason urgently asks Maxi to contact Anna and check in on her.

In an emotional Instagram post, Michael Easton revealed he has filmed his final scenes for General Hospital. “I’d always been partial to the Irish goodbye,” Easton says in the video. “That’s where you leave the party without actually telling anyone you’re gone. But I thought you all deserved better. I’ve loved every minute that I’ve been here.”

He expressed his gratitude to the cast and crew for the past decade and, most importantly, to the fans for their unwavering support and kindness. “As I walk out of here for the last time, with apologies to the great Lou Gehrig, I feel like the luckiest man on the face of the Earth,” Easton added.

While it’s not yet clear when Finn’s final scenes will air or how he will exit, speculation suggests he might finally seek treatment for his addiction. Tracy has already arranged a facility for him, with a 90-day minimum stay. This leaves the door open for a potential return in the future. Meanwhile, Violet might stay behind, cared for by Brook Lynn and Chase, as Finn receives the help he needs.

Michael Easton’s journey with General Hospital began in 2012 when he transitioned his character John McBain from One Life to Live to Port Charles. After legal disputes sent McBain packing, Easton returned as Silas Clay, and later as Dr. Hamilton Finn in 2016. Fans have followed Finn through various storylines, and his departure marks the end of an era.

As we prepare to say goodbye to Finn, we wish Michael Easton all the best in his future endeavors. His heartfelt message to the fans reads: “Thank you for your kindness. My heart is filled with love and gratitude.”
