Bobby was in his room at Bayew, engrossed in a book, when Marina walked in. “I don’t have anything to say to you. I’ll address Jada and no one else,” Bobby stated firmly. Marina inquired about his encounter with Jada. “I think our discussion was very useful,” Bobby replied. Marina expressed her satisfaction but hinted that Bobby should think about Everett. “All in all, would you be able to briefly let him out?” Marina asked. Bobby declined, stating he wasn’t ready to face his past. Marina accused Bobby of being more concerned about himself, to which he requested her to leave, and she did.
Meanwhile, Jada informed Rafe that she had spoken with Bobby at the Brady Pub. Specialists hadn’t been able to reach Everett, so he followed through with his message. Rafe noted Jada had run into difficulties after Stephanie requested she speak with Bobby. “It was a complete waste of time,” Rafe said. Jada disagreed, mentioning Bobby had told her he still wanted her back. Rafe sneered, “It must be so flattering to be hit on by someone who isn’t even real.” Jada countered, “He was real to me.” Rafe apologized and mentioned Bobby’s offer to help her solve a murder case. Bobby didn’t give details but said they could discuss it further if she returned to visit him. Rafe argued Bobby was manipulating her, but Jada insisted on returning. “I need to listen to him,” she said. Rafe reminded her of Bobby’s instability and expressed concern for her safety. “You should stay as far from him as possible,” Rafe insisted. Jada maintained that Bobby wouldn’t open up if Rafe was there. “This is about trust. I need to go alone,” Jada argued. Rafe advised her to be careful.
At Bayew, Bobby grinned when Jada returned. “I was hoping you’d come back,” he said. Jada firmly stated she wouldn’t allow him to keep her on the hook and demanded information about the murder. Bobby promised to tell her everything if she helped him get released from Bayew. Jada sighed, feeling Rafe was right about Bobby’s manipulation, but Bobby insisted he had the information she needed. “It’s about the murder of Lein,” Bobby revealed.
Elsewhere, Nicole was at The Spectator when Eric arrived. Nicole asked Eric to take photos of EJ’s press conference. “I don’t work here anymore,” Eric said, explaining he had a job in Paris and was leaving today. Nicole was surprised and saddened, but Eric stated he needed time and distance. Nicole told Eric she’d miss him, and Eric echoed the sentiment. “Perhaps this is a positive thing for all of us,” Eric suggested. Nicole laughed, recalling how EJ disliked seeing them together. Eric admitted he wouldn’t know how to react if he saw Nicole with another man. They shared a heartfelt goodbye.
In the de Chateau, an irritated EJ questioned Stefan about Gabby. Stefan explained Gabby was returning from Arizona. EJ, anxious about his image, planned a press conference and wanted Gabby to speak about how he fought for her release. Stefan accused EJ of doing it to keep Nicole from learning the truth about Jude’s paternity. EJ reminded Stefan to keep his end of the bargain. Despite Gabby’s exhaustion, Stefan convinced her to support EJ at the press conference.
Gabby later confronted Stefan, demanding to know how he coerced EJ. Stefan revealed EJ wasn’t Jude’s father, explaining the paternity test results used as leverage for Gabby’s release. Gabby insisted they tell Eric the truth, arguing it was the right thing to do. Stefan, concerned about the repercussions, pleaded with Gabby to keep the secret. Reluctantly, Gabby agreed, recognizing the fragile peace they had with EJ.
