Gabby realized how challenging dealing with changes could be and updated Jada on her past interactions with Abigail. Gabby pondered how the strange fingerprint on Gil’s book could be explained if someone else was the killer. Both Gabby and Jada agreed they didn’t like the lack of clear answers. Jada mentioned she needed to find Rafe, and Gabby informed her that Rafe was at Abigail’s gravesite.

At the gravesite, Rafe updated Paulina about the exhumation and promised to be careful since open graves could be dangerous. Suddenly, Connie approached Rafe from behind and stabbed him. Rafe fell to the ground in pain, and Connie taunted him, saying the open grave was irrelevant. Rafe tried to reach for his phone, but Connie assured him it wasn’t personal and that she had a deal to take him out in exchange for Bobby’s silence. Connie began to cover Rafe with soil, planning to leave the rest to the crew. Just then, someone called out for Rafe, scaring Connie away.

Jada arrived at the scene, finding Rafe with a knife in his back. She frantically called 911. Meanwhile, Gabby arranged a meeting with Ava to discuss reviving her fashion brand. Connie appeared and asked Gabby about joining her team, recalling their previous encounter. Gabby, not recognizing Connie initially, encouraged her to submit a resume.

Connie then met with Bobby, who confirmed their arrangement. Connie informed him that the deed was done, and Bobby expressed relief that Rafe was out of the picture. At the Horton house, Kate visited Chad and warned him about Clyde possibly manipulating him. Chad, desperate for answers about Abigail, listened to Kate’s advice but was determined to find out the truth.

Later, Stephanie checked in with Chad, sympathizing over Abigail’s situation. Meanwhile, at Paulina and Abe’s place, Paulina tried to contact Rafe, puzzled by the sudden end to their call. She instructed a team member to fill in Abigail’s grave to prevent any accidents.

Paulina and Abe discussed a potential TV show idea pitched by Kate, who suggested they could produce it in Salem to avoid moving to LA. Paulina was initially skeptical but warmed to the idea. Kate then informed them that she had secured Chad as an investor for the project. An excited Paulina offered to contribute, but Kate declined due to potential conflicts of interest with Paulina’s mayoral duties.

Back at the hospital, Kayla and a nurse attended to Rafe, who was in critical condition. An emotional Jada called for help, remembering the moments she shared with Rafe. Gabby arrived, shocked and confused about who could have attacked her brother. As Rafe’s condition worsened, the medical team struggled to save him.
